Syringe water sampling and injections
The Mini Chamber Lander is designed for shallow-water chamber measurements with microsensors (oxygen, hydrogen, nitrous oxide, pH, hydrogen sulfide) mounted in the chamber lid. The Lander is operated with a computer (Arctica controller). The syringes of the syringe water sampler are prepared by the user for either sampling or injection.
The Mini Chamber Lander is deployed by lowering it onto the seafloor. When it reaches the seafloor, the lid will close and measurements can start. Sensor measurements, stirrer activation, and syringe sampling can be controlled via the PC software, either as single commands or as downloaded autonomous programs.
